Is Catherine Zeta-Jones too thin?
The weirdest thing is happening with Catherine Zeta-Jones. Two publications – The Daily Mail and The New York Daily News – have called Catherine out for being “scary skinny” and having a “diminished” frame with tragically thin legs. What’s weird is that while looking at some recent photos of Catherine, I didn’t really see a big difference. Sure, she looks like she’s lost a little weight over the past year, but “scary skinny”? Not really.
The Daily Mail claims she’s “been steadily losing weight over the past few months as she performs eight shows a week in A Little Night Music. Instead of her previously curvy frame, the star’s frame has diminished, with her weight loss most apparent on her sinewy legs.” They also use one of Catherine’s old quotes against her: “How could I ever, ever be anorexic? I’m just working out and not chomping down what I usually chomp down.” Meanwhile, the NYDN claimed last week that “The once-curvy actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has been pictured stepping out in New York on a few occasions this year, showing off her scarily skinny legs. The 40-year-old actress… has knobby knees and thin, shapeless calves.” Strange, right? It’s like everyone decided all of a sudden that she was too thin. And she’s not, really. Just my opinion.
